With the current environment of air travel, the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport’s top priority is ensuring the safety and security of passengers and visitors. To ensure you have a pleasant experience, we ask that you assist our law enforcement officers by obeying the law. Because the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport wants to maintain a customer friendly experience, friends and family are allowed to drop-off and pick-up passengers in front of the terminal building; however,
NO VEHICLE may be left unattended at any time. Unattended vehicles will be impounded immediately and towed away.
If your plans require you to wait for a long period of time, we ask that you park in the appropriate parking garage. By doing so, this will relieve congestion along the front of the terminal for others to drop-off and pick-up passengers.

Due to the increased security, passengers who have a confirmed flight should plan on arriving at the airport 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Flight Status
To check the status of your flight whether it is on-time or to determine if it is delayed or possibly canceled, the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport has implemented a 24 hour automated phone line “Flight Line” at 225.358.4260. You will need your flight number and the name of your airline to acquire the status of your flight.
