Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR), June 08, 2012 — The Baton Rouge Metro Airport will hold its 7th Annual Small Business Opportunities Workshop on Thursday, June 21st at the Baton Rouge River Center.
This free event is for all firms interested in pursuing work at the Baton Rouge Metro Airport. The BTR Small Business Opportunities Workshop will allow attendees to network with local firms of all sizes while learning more about pursuing business opportunities with airport. Representatives will be available from BTR, LA DOTD, Small Business Assistance Programs, and the City of Baton Rouge to provide valuable advice and answer questions such as:
What upcoming business opportunities are available at the airport?
Does my firm qualify for the airport's new Small Business Program?
What are the airport's DBE requirements for bids and proposals?
What resources are available to small businesses?
