Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, May 17, 2011—Vision Airlines announced today that the company would offer passengers the opportunity to connect to other cities it serves through the company’s hub in Destin/Ft Walton Beach. The new schedule will take effect on June 01, 2011.
In addition to nonstop flights to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach and Las Vegas (starts June 03) from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, Vision Airlines will offer low-fare connecting service to Orlando-Sanford Airport and Tunica, MS. on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
"When we launched our service in March, we felt it would be prudent to keep things simple which meant only allowing passengers to fly directly to a destination. Now, by opening our entire system with connections, our customers will have many new destination options," said David Meers, Vision Airlines’ Chief Operating Officer. "This will give our passengers so many more options to take advantage of our low fares and we are very happy to deliver this value at a time when it seems airfares from other air carriers are skyrocketing” added Meers.
Information about the new routes and fares is available at www.visionairlines.com. The new routes are on sale now and the new schedule takes effect on June 1, 2011.
