US Airways to Resume Baton Rouge – Charlotte Service

The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport is pleased to announce that US Airways will begin nonstop Baton Rouge (BTR) – Charlotte (CLT), N.C. flights on June 24, 2010.  The flights will offer BTR passengers a new gateway to 128 domestic and international destinations in the U.S., eastern Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  This will mark the return of the carrier to BTR after a seven-year absence.  Customers can begin booking flights March 27.

 

US Airways will offer three daily nonstop roundtrips in the BTR – CLT market, with the carrier operating well-timed flights in both directions throughout the day using 50-seat Canadair CRJ-200 aircraft operated by US Airways’ wholly-owned Express subsidiary PSA Airlines.  The flight schedule will be as follows:

Marino.  "We have worked diligently for several years to secure service to US Airways’ large but easy-to-use hub in Charlotte that offers over 600 daily departures and numerous connections to important Baton Rouge markets like Boston, New York, Washington and Orlando.  We look forward to a successful partnership between BTR and US Airways for many years to come.”
