Effective January 05, 2010, Delta will add a morning Atlanta (ATL) to Baton Rouge (BTR) flight that will depart ATL at 9:00am and arrive in BTR at 9:56am. The new Delta Connection flight provides an earlier arrival time into BTR than was previously available. The return segment of the new flight will depart BTR at 10:21am and arrive in ATL at 11:24am.
The flight will be operated with a 50-seat CRJ100 aircraft. With the new flight, Delta Connection will operate 14 daily ATL hub flights (total BTR arrivals and departures) utilizing a combination of CRJ100 50-seat and CRJ700 70-seat regional jets.
"We appreciate Delta’s responsiveness to our request for an earlier Atlanta to Baton Rouge flight,” stated BTR Marketing and Air Service Development Manager, Jim Caldwell. "Delta is a valued partner in providing the Baton Rouge Metro Airport with frequent jet service to their Atlanta and Memphis hubs.”
